The GAP Grind is a special event that means a lot to both the shooters and us at Manners. Having an opportunity for a new shooter to pair up with a seasoned pro in a true match environment is the foundation of paying it forward. With this, we try to take it further and promote our pay it forward program with both our shooters and our own gear.
Our own sponsored shooters and customers always step up to give back to the community that they were once new to themselves. We pick a handful of amateurs to give stocks to, we would be lying to say that we don’t get any joy out of seeing them walk up to get their stock! On top of that Manners always donates a new build to a deserving new shooter. This year we donated a GAP PPR which will allow the shooter to be able to compete in Production Div rather than being forced to shoot in Open.
We hope our efforts make their journey much better with better success. We also make a point to donate 2 prizes to the table for all to have a chance to get. Getting to see the fire in the new shooters gets us going as much as ever and we love being able to give back to the community that has been so good to us. We are already excited for next year’s GAP Grind! We can’t wait to see you there!
