You may change any of the specs on your stock at any time but it could affect the completion time. If you make any of the following changes, your stock completion date will be reset to the current lead time for custom-built stocks:
- Changes to color/finish or shell after stock has been shelled, unless you are changing to a painted finish.
- Changes to action, barrel or trigger guard inlet after stock has been inletted.
The following changes will result in a delay of 2-4 weeks:
- Adding or changing hardware (rails, flush cups, sling studs, etc).
- Changing color of stock to a painted finish.
